10" Square Polycarbonate Housing

This polycarbonate housing is specifically designed for installation by low-voltage security integrators. It features a military-grade EPDM rubber seal that is water and UV-resistant, rust-resistant stainless-steel hinge, sufficient backbox space to house equipment, a privacy/weather shroud, and a black painted final coat with UV inhibitor. Markings on the inside indicate where to drill holes for surface or flush mounting.  A cam lock (and knockout on the front door) are included.  You can loosen or bend the cam lock's locking tab for correct engagement.

Readers (such as AWID) can be mounted internally.  An internal mounting plate and fasteners that fit AWID readers are included in each box.  Attention AWID installers:  please note that the plate and fasteners (included) are for installing an AWID reader.  When installing the reader, remove the door cables and discard, mount the plate to the backside of the AWID reader with the ¼-20 fasteners (included), mount the plate and reader into the housing (internal) with the #6 fasteners (included), and finally use the #6 fasteners (included) to hold the door closed.
