A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies for the site to work, to understand how the site is used, for live chat, for optional marketing and measurement tags, and—where you see our cookie banner—to record your consent choices. Updated May 14, 2026
We use OneTrust (CookiePro, OneTrust LLC) to show the cookie banner and preference center and to store your consent. OneTrust may set its own cookies (for example, to remember that you have made a choice or to apply your preferences). The OneTrust script loads from cdn.cookielaw.org so the banner can appear before other optional tags run.
When optional tags run: On most pages, advertising and measurement scripts (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics configuration, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Mailchimp’s connected-site script) are included in a form that does not run until OneTrust enables them after you interact with the cookie banner and allow the relevant cookie categories. Live chat (Tawk.to) is set up the same way for the “Functional” category. If those categories are not allowed, those scripts do not execute in the browser.
California visitors: When our systems detect a visit from California, we do not include the advertising and measurement scripts listed above at all (in addition to any choice you make in OneTrust). Essential site operation, the consent tool, and other non-marketing features may still load.
For general background on how cookies work, see allaboutcookies.org. You can also use your browser’s settings to delete or block cookies; some site features may not work if you block cookies that are strictly necessary.
Typical names and purposes (exact names can vary by OneTrust version and template):
Needed for security, sessions, and basic UX. These are not gated behind marketing consent in the same way as optional tags below.
We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-XR2TXWL9RE (via the gtag queue in our layout). We also load two Google Tag Manager containers: GTM-ML8JNDQQ and GTM-T8NQWG87, which may deploy tags configured in those containers (for example measurement or advertising, depending on how each container is set up). These scripts are configured so they do not run until OneTrust allows the relevant categories (for example Performance for GA, and Targeting for the combined GTM/Meta/LinkedIn/Mailchimp bundle in our implementation—your OneTrust admin should align cookie groups with these script tags).
Used to measure ad effectiveness and for remarketing-style use cases when you allow targeting cookies. These are not loaded for visitors detected as being in California.
We use Tawk.to for live chat. The chat widget script is configured so it does not run until OneTrust allows the functional cookie category in our implementation.
Some pages embed YouTube videos or Typeform forms. Those providers may set their own cookies when the embed loads (for example YouTube’s VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE or Typeform infrastructure cookies such as load-balancer cookies on form.typeform.com). Loading is usually triggered when you open a video modal or visit a page with an iframe, not by our main layout alone.
We load Font Awesome from kit.fontawesome.com for icons. Font Awesome’s kit may perform requests that can involve cookies or similar storage according to their policies. Our own JavaScript and CSS bundles (site.js, vendors.js, etc.) are served from Pedestal PRO and do not replace the vendors listed above.
